Be a member of the LIL programme offered in collaboration with the Union of TEFL teachers

If you have a spare bedroom in your house you can be very well paid simply by hosting and teaching foreign students from all over the world, all year round. We are currently looking for people who hold a valid TEFL teaching certificate recognised by the Education Monitoring Board for the teaching of English as a foreign language or teachers who are not in full-time employment and can teach on a flexible part -time basis.



Requirements to be a teacher in the LIL programme

Our programme of English Language trainers is ideal for those professionals who would like to work from home and teach in the commodity of their own homely environment. You will be earning a higher than average salary especially when compared to other teaching posts with Language schools. We believe that our clients deserve the best in language tuition but most importantly we believe in motivating the trainer who will be in constant touch with our clients. We will offer you a very lucrative financial income and the advantage of working from your own home with flexible hours.



What does the job entail?

You will have a student living with you for at least a week. You will have to treat the client as a member of your family and normally give15 hours per week of formal English language lessons, on a one-to-one basis. You and your household are also expected to speak in English all the time in the presence of the student. The students must be provided with 3 meals a day, which would consist of varied dishes.



Requirements for Tutor Homes

You will have a well kept home in a good location with reasonable access to shops, buses, banks and other local facilities. You will have a bedroom for the student with bed, wardrobe, desk and a chest of drawers. These are for the student's use only.
