General English Course


The Live In Language General English Course is a course for those who need a functional and communicative level of English, which they would be able to apply in their everyday life. The General English course will provide you with the necessary language skills in the four areas of language; namely listening, speaking, reading and writing.

The General English course is led by one of the professional private tutors, which make up the Live In Language teaching team. Since the lessons will be led on a private or two-to-one tuition basis the lesson content will be especially tailor made for the situation at hand.

Our guarantee of Quality, Efficiency and Results is further amplified by the unique option of living with your own private tutor in his or her own home. The Live In Language concept itself was created around the premise that your learning capabilities can be optimised if you share the longest possible time with your teacher in an English-speaking environment. Even though it is not necessary to opt for the General English Course in conjunction with the Host family option, we do advise our clients to take up this opportunity since it is one of the essential elements of the Live In Language concept.

To be able to create the best course content for you we need you to tell us what your requirements and linguistic needs are before your arrival to Malta. This gives us the possibility to ensure that your time is used as efficiently as possible. If you opt for the General English Language course, or any other Live In Language course, please take some time to fill in our placement test and the needs analysis questionnaire so that your teacher will be informed about your level and linguistic needs prior to your arrival.
